Houston, TX – January 2015 – Carol Wenom, Vice President of The Whitaker Companies, has been elected President of The Pinnacle Society, the nation’s premier consortium of top recruiters within the direct-hire placement and search industry.
The Pinnacle Society is an influential group of top recruiters (fewer than 1% of producers in the country) with a history of results. Members have a demonstrated track record of excellence, documented experience and tenure in the recruiting profession, and proven industry-specific expertise that sets them apart from other recruiters. Ms. Wenom has been a member of The Pinnacle Society since 2007; her two-year term will start January 2015.
Ms. Wenom has over thirty years of experience in Engineering/Technical recruiting and search. Her major focus has always been in the midstream and downstream sectors of the industry which she specializes in search for refinery/petrochemical professionals nationwide from mid-level through management/executive levels, many of her searches being exclusive or on retained basis.

Wenom has been named Who’s Who in Energy for three consecutive years by the Houston Business Journal.
