The Whitaker Companies is looking for experienced Engineering Recruiter / Staffing Sales professionals to join our Houston-based Whitaker Technical Contract Staffing and Search team.

Ideal candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit and the abilities and drive to succeed in the professional staffing business. We look for a unique combination of high energy and high ethics to ensure an end goal that builds strong, long-term relationships with our customer base.

**Position has the opportunity to be home-based should the candidate have proven experience and capabilities to perform all job functions remotely**



In this position you will:

  • Identify new business segments and develop new client relationships
  • Cultivate client relationships into partnerships
  • As a consultant, understand client staffing needs for short-term and long-term projects, temporary and direct-hire
  • Build knowledge and network to serve as industry expert and go-to resource for clients and candidates
  • Maintain long-term relationships with both clients and candidates to ensure proper fit and win-win situation
  • Market passive and “hidden” candidates to top clients nationwide
  • Assist senior team members with existing client accounts
  • Utilize proven recruiting methods and resources to identify and recruit qualified professionals
  • Perform full cycle recruiting (recruit, screen, qualify, schedule interviews, extend offers, negotiate contracts, assist with candidate resignation and onboarding)



Compensation package includes:

  • Base salary (DOE) plus uncapped commission of gross margin
