Carol Wenom Elected President of The Pinnacle Society

Houston, TX – January 2015 – Carol Wenom, Vice President of The Whitaker Companies, has been elected President of The Pinnacle Society, the nation’s premier consortium of top recruiters within the direct-hire placement and search industry.
The Pinnacle Society is an influential group of top recruiters (fewer than 1% of producers in the country) with a history of results. Members have a demonstrated track record of excellence, documented experience and tenure in the recruiting profession, and proven industry-specific expertise that sets them apart from other recruiters. Ms. Wenom has been a member of The Pinnacle Society since 2007; her two-year term will start January 2015.
Ms. Wenom has over thirty years of experience in Engineering/Technical recruiting and search. Her major focus has always been in the midstream and downstream sectors of the industry which she specializes in search for refinery/petrochemical professionals nationwide from mid-level through management/executive levels, many of her searches being exclusive or on retained basis.

Additionally, as a dedicated professional in the recruiting and staffing industry, Ms. Wenom served as Chairman of the Board of The National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) from 2008-2010. In recognition of her lifetime achievements to the industry, she was inducted into the NAPS Hall of Fame in 2013. Wenom has been named Who’s Who in Energy for three consecutive years by the Houston Business Journal.
