About Me

Patricia Simpson has built a successful career in Houston that includes over 18 years of experience in IT sales and recruiting. Ms. Simpson started with Whitaker in 2006 as an IT Recruiter. Her dedication to serving her clients and candidates was unsurpassed from day one earning her Rookie of the Year in her first year and placing her in contention for Producer of the Year every year after. In her third year with Whitaker, Patricia was honored to win the Whitaker Way award chosen by her peers.

Her background includes over 14 years as a top performing IT Recruiter and over 10 years selling IT solutions and services to CIO’s & IT Directors of large enterprises. The credibility that Patricia gained in the Houston IT marketplace led her to explore opportunities outside of recruiting – and Whitaker – to work in IT solution sales with prominent Houston clients.

It was in these roles that she fine-tuned her sales and marketing skills before returning to Whitaker in 2019 as Director of Sales and was promoted to Vice President. Patricia’s role at Whitaker IT is to work closely with the Business Development and Recruiting teams to deliver highly skilled IT resources to clients enabling them to achieve their critical priorities and objectives.

In early 2024, Patricia was promoted to Vice President of The Whitaker Companies. In her new role, she oversees the strategic direction and operational execution of three divisions within the company. Additionally, she leads the organization’s training program, ensuring that all employees have access to cutting-edge resources and development opportunities to enhance their professional growth. This initiative underscores her commitment to fostering an environment of continuous learning and excellence across the company.

It should come as no surprise that with her drive, focus and commitment Patricia graduated Summa Cum Laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA from the UT Arlington with a BA Psychology. She earned her CTS (Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist) certification in April 2007, and currently lives in the greater DFW area with her husband and two sons.
